Let me start by introducing myself....

 

Who am I?

 

I'm Barbara and I'm a travelller!

Travelling is my passion ...and my dream is to see the world!

I've always loved travelling and had this insatiable need of exploring new places and learn about new things but it wasn't until 5 years ago when I decided to take a step ahead and find work abroad. And that was it,  the beginning of everything!

Later in the year, I rent my flat, sold my car and here I am.....

I have travelled to four continents and 30 countries and keep on travelling.

Once you start, you want more. It's works like a drug, really! You 

want to see more and more, to explore more and learn more. Be merged into the diversity of people on this planet, be driven by the urge to go beyond your boundaries.

Travel Explore and Learn! 

I have friends all over the world and I want to make many more. 

Whe world is much smaller when you have friends around the world. How wonderful it is to say 'hello' to your friends across the seas and have them over or pay them a visit one day. Be blessed by the cultural exchange and strong long distance friendships that are bound to last.

I speak six languages and keep on learning. I  started learning languages when I was very young  and soon found out what a powerful tool it is.When I travel I alway learn a few basic words of the country....even a 'Good morning' or  a 'Thank you' in the local language will work miracles for you. Only think of how much you would appreciate and be willing to help a foreigner who's making the effort to say sth in your language.

Travelling broadens the mind! It makes you wiser and more tolerant.

Ask me if I have a dream destination and the answer is

'No dream destination really......my dream destination is the one I'm planning next!'

Now why this Website?

 

It was on the spur of the moment thing....the idea I mean!

But it was long before that I had started thinking of  somehow combine my love for travelling,  my passion for photography and my long forgotten... need of writing.

I'm planning to work hard on this website making it  far more professional than a simple  blog....adding more and more useful stuff for travellers and all people who

love travelling.Please share and spread the word if you find it a nice idea!
