Skyros, the town

The local wine is very good. I particularly liked the sweet red wine called ....
Churchkhela is what you see in the picture.......they look like sausages at first sight but they are sweets. Churchkhela is a traditional candle-shaped candy and it is made of grape must, flour and nuts. Delicious and very nutritious as well. There are many street vendors who sell Churchkhela in the streets of Tbilisi as well as pomgranade juice and orange juice for a few Lari, not very cheap though!
I found Churchkhela in packages in supermarkets and it a great idea for a present to take back home!
In Akhaltsikhe many people look like Turks, they are nice and polite.I was kindly surprised by the sweetness of our van driver tahta I asksed him if he was GEorgian.People are pleasant and nice .Nothing like Tbilisi and Batumi.Their accent is different too...it reminded me of Turkish.
Rabati Fortress in Alkhatsilke.Bus to Vardzia 5Lari.
We woke up at 6am cause the protocol says First arrives, first served....but in that case we had to wait until 8:15!As you understand...there were no passengers!
